James Moye Obituary

James Dixon Moye, 86, passed away Saturday evening at  his residence. Born Wayne County, he was the son of  the late George Edward Moye, Sr. and the late Jessie Belle Walker Moye. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Edna M. Joyner and a daughter, Debra Butts. James retired from Kemp Furniture and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 4:00 pm at Pineview Cemetery near Seven Springs with Rev. Carroll Outlaw officiating. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

James is survived by his wife, Betty Carroll Moye; a son, David Dixon Moye and wife, Jennie; a daughter, Lisa Moye and her special friend, Charles Burch; a son in law, Ronnie Butts; a brother, George Moye, Jr. and wife, Judy; a sister, Mollie Coor; four grandchildren, Spencer Lane and his fiancée, Angela; Clarissa Rose, Hailey Blizzard and Riley Moye; a special friend, Velma Frizzelle and numerous nieces and nephews.
