James Wilson Obituary

James Edgar Wilson, 81, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Harper, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Monice Wilson and the late Grace Clyburn Wilson. He was a member of the Mt. Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He loved car racing, country music, grilling and his vegetable garden.

No formal funeral services will be held.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Wilson; a son, Frank Edgar Wilson and wife, Mary Alice Wilson; a daughter, Jennifer Ellen Mapes and husband, Brian; a sister, Cherlyn Wilson Gotham and husband, Fay; four grandchildren, Phillip Torreyson, Christopher Wilson and wife, Amanda, Amy Ellen Walker and husband, A.D., William Emry Mapes and fiancée, Julie; a great grandchild, Mariela Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
