Glenda Joanne (Burwood) Clatone

Glenda Joanne Burwood Clatone, 73, passed away Sunday, June 2nd at U.N.C. Health Rex. She was the daughter of the late Rodney and Hazel Burwood. Glenda was a retired waitress. She was also a seamstress, a big fan of Elvis, and loved frogs. Glenda also enjoyed old country & western movies.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, June 11th at 7:00 pm in the Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Glenda is survived by her husband, Andy Clatone; special friend, Al Thigpen and stepchildren, Alicia Thigpen, Amanda Morris and husband, Allen, and Laura Thigpen.
