Gerald Vern Greenup

Gerald V. Greenup, 76, of Pfafftown, NC passed away Friday evening at his home surrounded by his family. He is the son of the late John and Charlotte Greenup and is married to Joyce Goff Greenup. Mr. Greenup was a retired right of way agent for Carolina Power and Light. He loved to tinker on cars, travel, and eat, especially coconut pie.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. at Wayne Memorial Park with Mr. Robert Goff and Mr. Harry Goff officiating.

In addition to his wife of 57 years, Mr. Greenup is survived by a son, Richard Greenup and wife, Angela of Crystal River, FL; brothers, John Allen Greenup Jr. of Greensboro and Willard Dean Greenup and wife, Jane of Ayden; 3 grandchildren, Brenden Daniels and wife, Allison, Kirsten Davis, and Holly Greenup; and a great grandson, Griffin Daniels.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Carolina School of Biblical Studies, 8999 Lasater Rd., Clemmons, NC 27012.
