George Stanley Pike

George Stanley Pike, age 66, passed away Thursday at his home.  Born in Wayne county, he was son of the late Thurman Pike, Sr. and Ellmae Pelt Pike.  A member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church, he was previously employed with Pro Turf and Allen & Company.

            A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Polly Ann Pike;  daughters, Tammy Pipkin Garmane (Kenny) of Dudley, Libby Pipkin Harrison (Ray) of Princeton and Rachel Pipkin Ginn (Ronnie) of LaGrange;  sisters, Martha Bryant (Charles) of Wilmington and Janet Pike (Mike) of Grantham; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Priscilla Ann Godwin; brother, Olan Pike; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia & Mack King.
