Ella Faye Smith Coty, 86, of Dudley, passed away on Thursday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She is the daughter of the late Bernice and Dessie Lewis Smith and is the widow of the late John Coty. Faye loved her coffee or a Pepsi while watching Judge Judy or Andy Griffith on television as well as trips to the mountains or anytime it snowed. Faye was a good mama to her children.
A service to celebrate Faye’s life will be held Sunday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Committal services will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Faye is survived by her daughters, Lisa Parrish and husband, Randall of Pikeville and Mitzi Huff and husband, Larry of Dudley; sons, Greg Coty and fiancé, Linda Fields of Grantham and Doug Coty and wife, Teresa of Fremont; a sister, Hilda Hawkins and husband, Doug of La Grange; grandchildren, Nikki Holmes and husband, Jamie, Johnathan Coty, Brooke Walston and husband, Jeff, Kimberly Molina and husband, Jesus, Kristal Long and husband, Aaron, Joshua Parrish, Zackary Huff, and Hunter Huff; and 7 great grandchildren.
A sister, Evelyn Grady also preceded Faye in death.
