Faye (Brock) Carter

Faye Brock Carter, age 83, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born in Duplin County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Brock and Marcheline Blackmon Brock. A 1960 graduate of North Duplin High School, she was retired with Dupont.

Faye is survived by her son, Garrett Carter (Rhonda); her daughter, Tracy Carter; her brother, Wayne Brock; her sister, Juanita Winstead; grandchildren, Ben Barwick, James Ray Grady, and Hunter Carter.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dylan Barwick; brothers, Roy Brock and Ray Brock; sister, Novella Pope.

As per her request, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Carter residence. On Saturday February 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM
