Eunice (Strickland) Daniels

Eunice Strickland Daniels, 91, passed away Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She is the daughter of the late Offie and Susan Strickland. She had worked with the Mt. Olive Piggly Wiggly Deli/Bakery. Mrs. Daniels enjoyed watching the Jimmy Swaggart Television Ministry.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Sprinkle and Pastor Luke Davis officiating. Committal services will follow at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Daniels is survived by her children, Barbara “Gail” Lunsford and husband, William of Leakesville, MS, Eugene “Tommy” Dearman of Mt. Olive, Thurman “Craig” Daniels Sr. and wife, Pam of New Bern, Willie C. Daniels and wife, Kathy of La Grange, and Gary “Magoo” Daniels of Dudley; sisters, Mary Jane Herring of Pink Hill, and Margret Ann Porter and husband, Bobby of Farmville; a brother in law, Eugene Stone of Newton Grove; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; and a special friend, Evelyn Daniels Hill.

Her sisters, Helen Medford, Virginia Crim, Dorothy Stone, Grace Stone, Shirley Ballree, and  Mildred Watts; and brothers, Milford L. Strickland, and George B. Strickland all preceded her in death.
