Ernest Jackson "Jackie Wise

Jackie Wise, 74, of Dudley passed away Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. He was born in Wayne County to the late Fred and Mary Thompson Wise, and was the husband of the late Annie Pope Wise. He enjoyed walking, and riding his bicycle, watching old western movies, and classic country or bluegrass music. 

A service to celebrate Jackie’s life will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Willoughby officiating. Committal services will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Jackie is survived by his siblings, Jimmy Wise and wife, Linda, Fred Wise and wife, Violet, Pat Cox, Mary Margaret Holley and husband, Roger, Jean McCoy, and Shirley Moore.

Brothers, Billy Ray Wise and Danny Wise along with brothers in law, Bobby Cox, Rabbit McCoy, and John Moore preceded him in death.
