Emigdia Reyes Flores

Emigdia Reyes Flores, age 58, died Tuesday at Wayne UNC Health Care. Born in Guadalcazar, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Pablo Reyes and Dionisia Flores and the wife of the late Guillermo Balleza.  She was employed with Butterball.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church in Mt. Olive, NC. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held for family and friends Friday, October 16, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro.

She is survived by her children, Guillermo Balleza Reyes, Guadalupe Balleza Reyes, Alma Belleza Reyes, Carolina Balleza Reyes, Margarita Balleza Reyes;  brother, Eusebio Reyes;  sisters, Grabiela Cruz Reyes, Margarita Reyes and Maria Reyes; eleven grandchildren, Adrian Cruz Reyes, Chris Balleza, Brian Cruz Reyes, Adan Reyes, Hunter Davis, William Balleza, Abigail Cruz Reyes, Mia Balleza, Carolina Reyes, Genesis Balleza and George Cruz Reyes. 

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eleuteria Reyes.
