Elsie Adele (Boyle) Jones

Elsie Boyle Jones, age 92, passed away on Friday at her residence. Born in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late James Louis Boyle and Elizabeth Benzenberg Boyle and wife of the late Burris B. Jones. She was formerly employed with Wayne Exterminating Company. 

Elsie was a dedicated mother and grandmother and her life was centered around her family. She enjoyed spending time in the yard and gardening. 

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. Committal services will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Roy Edwin Jones of Wilmington, NC; two daughters, Judith Jones of Goldsboro and Kathy Bradley of Pikeville; three grandchildren, Amanda Bruey, Cameron Kirkman and Steven Kirkman; and two great grandchildren, Jade Roberts and Andre Roberts.
