Elizabeth "Beth" B. Rigdon

Elizabeth “Beth” B. Rigdon, age 41, passed away Tuesday at Wayne/UNC Healthcare.  Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of Henry Benjamin “Ben”, II and Dori Forsythe Smith. She was a Certified Nurses Assistant but her most precious career was loving and caring for her family. 

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:30 am in the Peele Family Cemetery with Pastor Billy Smith officiating.  A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home in Goldsboro.

Along with her parents, Beth is survived by her husband, Jeffrey W. Rigdon; her daughter, Haley Grace Rigdon; her son and his girlfriend, Dustyn Dakota Rigdon and Gabriella Sky Massey;  brother and sister-in-law, Billy Elisha and Samantha Smith;  special niece, Adaline Smith; mother-in-law, Jan Hughes; father-in-law, William Rigdon.
