Obituary
Elaine Friedman “Ma” Genova, age 87, passed away on Thursday morning at Transitions Life Center in Raleigh. Born in Glen Cove, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harry Friedman and the late Miriam Friedman and wife of the late John Genova. Elaine was formerly employed with GlaxoSmithKline.
A service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date and a visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC.
Elaine is survived her son, Steven Louis Capozzi and wife, Denise; a daughter, Susan Perry; grandchildren, Terri Kornegay and Remi Perry; great grandchildren, Jennifer Williams, Adam Edwards, Zion Kornegay and Israel Graham; and her great great grandchildren, Savannah Eaton, Marrysah Eaton, Aaliyah Edwards and Madelyn Kornegay; along with a niece, Sherrie Starr and a nephew, Nathan Friedman .
