Edna Earl (Kennedy) Capps

Edna Earl Kennedy Capps passed away in the early morning of June 30, 2022, in her home with her loving family by her side.  Edna was born in Wayne County to the late John Bridgers & Hazel Lambert Kennedy. She was a member of Black Jack Free Will Baptist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary and the Ladies Circle at the church.

A service to celebrate Edna’s life will be held Saturday, July 2nd at 10 AM by the Graveside at Wayne Memorial Park with the Rev. Franklin Lane officiating

She is survived by her two grandchildren, Felipe D. Capps & Kelly Marie Capps; two brothers Glenn Kennedy and wife, Linda A. and Durwood Kennedy and wife, Peggy; her sisters in law, Judy Kennedy, JoAnn Kennedy and Jean Kennedy.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children Karen Denise Capps, Charles Anthony Capps & Phyllis K. Capps. Also, three brothers proceeded her in death, John Robert, George William & Walter Lee Kennedy.
