Dorothy "Dot" Yvonne (Johnson) Moye

Dorothy “Dot” Yvonne Johnson Moye, 66 of Dudley passed away at her residence on Saturday evening. She is the daughter of the late Albert and Laura Dawson Johnson and is the wife of Michael “Big Mike” Anthony Moye Sr.. Dot enjoyed taking trips to Myrtle Beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Dot’s life will be held Wednesday at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor John Flowers Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A. M. until 12:00 P.M.

In addition to her husband, Dot is survived by her children, Michael Anthony Moye Jr. and spouse, Rickchelle Warren of Goldsboro, Dorain Sherrod Moye Sr. of Dudley, Michelle Antrice Moye of Dudley, and Gary Carlton of Dudley; sisters, Juanita Williams and husband, Ronald of Greenville, Laureen Lewis and husband, James of Kinston, and Hildreth Johnson of Kinston; aunts, Addie Ruth Miller of LaGrange, Daisy Johnson of LaGrange, and Betty Bynum and husband, Tiny of La Grange; grandchildren, Dorain Moye Jr., Lailah Moye, Amari George, Zion Christopher Outlaw, Michael Trevion Moye, and Jaida Hoover; a sister-in-law, Brenda Johnson of Tampa, FL; special friends, Eulah Mae Faggins and Marynette Coward; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to her parents, a brother, Sherman Johnson Sr. preceded her in death.
