Donna (Lancaster) Kornegay

Donna Lancaster Kornegay, age 70, died Monday at Wayne/UNC Healthcare. She was the daughter of the late Ervin and Mildred Bogue Lancaster and was the widow of Linwood Kornegay. Mrs. Kornegay was a retired special education teacher at Brogden Middle School.  She loved working on crafts and with her animals, but most of all she loved being with her children and grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 2:00 pm in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will visit with friends at her residence.

Donna is survived by her children, Judy Sullivan and husband, Scott of Alamo, CA, Cindy Kornegay and husband, Robbie and Lance Kornegay and wife, Jessica, all of Dudley;  a brother, Dwight Lancaster of Pikeville; fiancé, Glenn Scarborough; and 10 grandchildren.
