Devin Kent Hill

Devin Kent Hill, age 33, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at Wayne/UNC Health Care. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of Shari L. Robinson and the late Alban Kent Hill. He was a graduate of Rosewood High School in 2010 and earned his Associates Degree from Wayne Community College. Devin played wheelchair hockey with the Carolina Fury.

Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held Monday, September 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Andy Stovall officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home on Monday.

Along with his mother, Devin is survived by his sister, Courtney Hill; his nephew, Liam Hill; his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Evelyn Robinson.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Edward and Ruth Hill.
