Danny Thomas Wise

                 Danny Thomas Wise, 79, of Dudley passed away Sunday at his home. He was the son of the late Fred and Mary Bell Wise and the husband of Patsy Wise. Mr. Wise was the owner and operator of Danny’s Body Shop. He was a big NASCAR fan, loved going fishing at the beach, and going to auctions.. Most of all, he enjoyed being with children, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Danny had a huge heart and would help anyone.

                A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends following the service. Entombment services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. in the mausoleum chapel at Wayne Memorial Park.  

                In addition to his wife of 31 years, Mr. Danny is survived by children, Jenny Wise, Tommy Wise, Bobby Lee Gooding, Jr. and wife, Shirley, and Rodney Gooding and wife, Lee Ann; siblings, Pat Cox and husband, Bobby, Mary  Margaret Holley and husband, Roger, Jean McCoy, Shirley Moore, Jackie Wise, Jimmy Wise and wife, Linda, and Fred Wise and wife, Violet; grandchildren, Amanda Lane and husband, David, Reagan Wise, Sean Wise, Josh Ward, Stormie Gooding, Dylan Gooding, Lauren Gooding, and Joshua Gooding and wife, Avery; great grandchildren, MacKenzie Knuckles, Maddison Knuckles, Dawson Lane, Logan Lane, and Peyton McClure; special friend, Donnie Dunn; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, Duke.

                A son, Mark Wise, a brother, Billy Ray Wise; two brothers in law, Rabbit McCoy and John Moore; and father and mother in law, Wilbert and Doris Evans preceded him in death.
