Connie Lyn (Smith) Waddell

Connie Lyn Smith Waddell, age 58, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Born in Edgecomb County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Milton Richard and Barbara Ann Walston Smith.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Holder officiating. A visitation will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Connie is survived by her son, Jerimiah Waddell & wife, Natalie; her daughter, Ashley Wilson & husband, James; brothers, Bobby Allen Smith and Dan Crawford; sister, Sheila McCullen; granddaughters, Kelsie Waddell and Kaydence Horne.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Misty Forsythe.
