Claudette (Passerrello) Hedglin

Ms. Claudette (Passerrello) Hedglin, 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by all her family. Born and lived in New Castle, PA to the late Martin and Rose Spanish. She resided with her children in NC for the past 9 years. Claudie was a lifetime caregiver, excellent cook and baker. She loved playing canasta, reading, family time, attending church, and her card ministry. She loved her Steelers and watching westerns.

Romans 10:13-15 Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord “Shall” be saved. Momma did this. Thank you, Lord, and thank you, Momma. We witnessed her confession of faith and water baptism in Jesus Christ. It was a beautiful sight and a cherished moment. Enjoy your gift of eternity with God Momma that Jesus paid for you. John 3:16 RIP son #2  

She is survived by her sister, Loretta Fusco of New Castle, PA; 4 children, Roxann Passerrello Barnes of Asheville, Michael Passerrello of Goldsboro, Marty Passerrello (Donna) of Goldsboro and Rocky Passerrello (Heather) of Butler, PA and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael G. Passerrello; husband, Sheard “Tom” Hedglin; daughter, Sherry Passerrello Daniels; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Passerrello; brother, Martin “Marty” Spanish; and brother-in-law, Randy Fusco.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
