Christine (Best) Best

Christine Best Best, 84, of Goldsboro passed away Sunday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of the late John and Julia Bell Best, and was the wife of the late Norwood Best. Mrs. Christine was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. in Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Rose officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Best is survived by her daughters, Sula Teachey and husband Eddie of Saulston and Lisa Minchew of Rosewood; grandchildren, Mason Minchew, MacKenzie Toler and husband, J.C., and Carrie Lee and husband, Eric; sisters in law, Nona Gray, Margie Best, Lynn Best, and Faye Best; special friend, Pete Newcomb; and care giver, Mary jo Wiggins.

In addition to her husband of 57 years, a son, Danny Best preceded her in death.
