Calvin Glenn Waters

Calvin Glenn Waters, age 90, of Fremont passed away Friday evening, April 10, 2026, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Mr. Waters was born in Wayne County to the late Joe and Hester Langley Waters.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Epps Waters and their children, Deborah Purdy and Michael Waters; his siblings, Rachel Holland, Joyce Newcomb and Willie Marvin Waters, Sr. 

Services to celebrate the life of Calvin Glenn Waters, will be held at 11:00AM, Monday, April 20,2026, in Wayne Memorial Park with Pastor Charles Boyd presiding.  The family will greet friends briefly following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Waters is survived by his siblings, Dwight Waters & wife, Rose and  Jo Ann Barbour; grandchildren, Donna Myatt, Del Lockamy & wife, Sherri, Dusty Waters & wife, Kristina, Christy Montgomery & husband, Rocko, Christopher Waters & wife, Lindsay; great grandchildren, Amanda Myatt & husband, Patrick, Justin Myatt & wife, Donna, Hayleigh Wise, Hunter Brown, Kendell Mateer, Olivia Waters, Anna Bryant, River Bryant, Mathew Waters and Hallie Waters; great great grandchildren, Holden Best, Wyatt Ellis and Grayson Brogden; special longtime friend, Ms. Nan Blehi.
