Bruce Henderson

Bruce Henderson, age 87, passed away Tuesday morning at his home. Born in Pitt County, NC, he was the son of the late Daniel Archable and Mary Frances Dail Henderson. Bruce was the husband of Edna Baker Henderson for 69 years.

No formal services will be held at this time.

Along with his wife, Bruce is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Bruce Daniel and Vanessa Henderson; his daughter & son-in-law, Lorrie and Roger Adams; his grandchildren, Bruce D. Henderson, II, Daniel A. Alverza, Manuel R. Henderson, Matthew F. Henderson, John R. Henderson, James G. Henderson, Della M. Henderson, Timothy Adams, Christy Adams, Richard Adams (Julie) and Bruce Adams; his great grandchildren, Shawn Adams, Shwezinwin, Taylor Adams, Penelope Adams, Priscilla Adams and Steven Adams. “Papa” loved his grandkids with all of his heart as they were his world.

He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Luciano “Lucky” J. Henderson.
