Betty (Staples) Kimble

Betty Staples Kimble, age 87, passed away Thursday at Champions Assisted Living in Wilmington, NC. Born in Camden County, she was the daughter of the late Isaac S. and Ethel Anderson Staples and wife of the late Wayne G. Kimble.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Sunday at 10:00 am at the graveside at Wayne Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. Family members will greet friends following the graveside service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

Betty is survived by her son, Wayne G. “Gary” Kimble, Jr. and wife, Debbie; two daughters, Faith Wrae Beahm and husband, Alvin, Karen Kimble Baker and husband, Ed; a brother, Isaac S. Staples, Jr.; a sister, Patsy Carol Melton; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
