Barry Eugene Kashner

Barry Eugene Kashner, 66, passed away at his residence Monday morning. He is the son of the late Richard Harmond and Betty Tome Kashner and the husband of Lois Ort Kashner. Mr. Kashner was a United States Air Force veteran, and a transportation supervisor for Sygma Network. He was a member of VFW Post 1446 as well as American Legion Post 11. He enjoyed wood working and restoring cars.

No formal services will be held.

In addition to his wife, Lois, he is survived by a son, Bobby Kashner and fiancé, Leigh Best of Goldsboro; a step son, Jon Raab and wife, Lisa of York, PA; grandchildren, Amber Parrish, Brooke Nicole Mathias, Elizabeth Best; a great grandson, Liam Wyatt Casey; step grandchildren, Kaitlyn Raab, Kayla Raab, and Kylie Raab; a brother, Gary Kashner and wife, Sue of York, PA; a sister, Connie Chronister and husband, Ronald of York, PA; a sister in law, Deb Kashner; nieces, Kim Zeigler and husband, Kevin of York, PA and Kathy Shoemaker and husband, Jerry of York, PA; a great niece, Samantha Zeigler; and his beloved cats, Tigger, Mouse, Zipper, Little Stuff, Buster, Patches, Gabby and Gracie.

A brother, Richard Kashner Jr. preceded him in death.
