Barbara Ann Weller Huff, 83, of Goldsboro passed away Monday at Helping Hands Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late John Edwin and Alida Trusdell Weller, and was the wife of the late Howard Huff. She attended the First Presbyterian Church as well as Providence Methodist Church and served her Lord at both in various capacities. Barbara served on the board of the NCPTA locally and on the state level. She was also a paralegal for 40 years, and served as a leader with the Girl Scouts.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Mr. Rudy Peedin officiating. Committal services will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Huff Whaley and husband, Charles and Christopher Howard Huff and wife, Carrie; four grandchildren Matthew Whaley and wife, Ali, Justin Whaley and fiancé, Alyssa White, Brianna Huff and Mackenzie Huff; and a great grandson, Waylon Whaley.
