Barbara Webber Taylor, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home Saturday morning. Born in Wayne County, NC, she was the daughter of Margaret Thompson Webber and the late James Henry Webber. She was graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a Veteran of the United States Army. Barbara was the owner and operator of Wanda’s Snack & Q as well as the Howling Moon Bar, UpNext Entertainment and Barbara’s Flowers & Gifts. She was previously a manager with Dollar General.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Brogden Church in Dudley, NC with Pastor Glenn Pate officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held immediately following the service at the church.
Along with her mother, Barbara is survived by her husband, Jerry W. Taylor; her son, Justin K. Harville & wife, Trish; her daughter, Kimberly Heather Harville; step children, Jeremy Taylor & wife, Savannah and Emily Richardson & husband, Dustin; grandchildren, Jonah Harville, Carlin James Holland, Landon Richardson, Natalie Richardson, Collins Taylor and Chandler Taylor; and the many people she loved and mentored that lovingly called her “mama”.
