Amy Lee Curtis

Amy Lee Curtis, 45, of the Rosewood Community, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Saturday, August 22, 2026.

She was born on July 22, 1981 in Sumter, South Carolina to Joseph William Curtis, III and Angela Rose Mitchell Curtis.

Amy leaves behind a family who loved her dearly and will forever cherish the memories they shared.

She loved her children, Tyler Joseph Cenate (Madelynne Brooke Mooring) and Piper Nicole Cenate (Kyla Marrissa Uzzell); her parents, Joseph William Curtis III and Angela Rose Mitchell Curtis; her partner, Dennis Cenate; and her sisters, Kimberly “Shae” Son and Patricia Ann Curtis; her nieces and nephews, Masin and Jason Williford; her beloved dog, Fat Daddy; and her cousins, Chelsea and her son Christopher; and her aunts and uncles that she loved dearly. She is also loved by her many friends.

Above all else, Amy’s greatest love was her family, especially her children. They were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment she spent with them. Her love, strength, and unique personality touched the lives of those around her and created countless memories that will continue to bring smiles to the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Amy had a love for music of every genre and enjoyed singing and reading. She was always looking to better herself to make things easier in life. She was a devoted mother who cared deeply for her children, and her love for them was evident in all that she did. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Fat Daddy, who held a special place in her heart.

Though her passing was unexpected, Amy’s memory will live on through her children, parents, family, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
