Thomas James Karpinski

Thomas James Karpinski, 50, passed away Thursday afternoon. He was the son of  Audrey F. Nichols and Thomas John and Ellene Karpinski, and was married to Lynda Avery Karpinski. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and was a carpenter for Georgia Pacific.

A memorial service will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

In addition to his parents and wife, Mr. Karpinski is survived by his children, Tyler Karpinski of Dudley, Caycee Karpinski and fiancé, Brandon of Mountain Top, PA, Steven Desmarais of Dudley, and Kayla Desmarais of Dudley; brothers, John Karpinski of PA, Matthew Karpinski, and William Nichols both of Kunkle, PA; and a sister, Emma Karpinski of Connecticut.

A brother, Daniel Nichols and a sister, Kimberly Lawler preceded him in death.
