Silas Perkins Obituary

Silas Henry Perkins, age 89, died Monday at his residence. Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Silas Leon Perkins and the late Lula Jackson Perkins, husband of the late Sara Louise Evans Perkins and father of the late Brian Carson “Corky” Perkins.

A private service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his sons, Henry Perkins and wife, Carol; Marc Kiewert and wife, Donna; Ken Nunn and wife, Lucy; daughter, Barbara Thornton and husband, Bob; and a grandson, Brian Perkins.
