Royce Lee Gooding, 71, of Macclesfield died Tuesday at his residence. He was the son of the late Franklin and Lillie Gooding, and was the husband of the late Paulette Gooding.

No formal services will be held.

Mr. Gooding is survived by a son, Mark Gooding.
