Mary S. Yearwood

Mary Ellen Shytle Yearwood, 80, passed away Friday evening at Genesis Heathcare in Mt. Olive. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Cleo Shytle, and was the wife of the late Floyd Yearwood.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 2:00 P.M. at Brogden United Methodist Church with Rev. Al Sullivan officiating. Committal services will be Tuesday in Eternal Hills Memorial Park in Forest City, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 P.M. prior to the service.

Mrs. Yearwood is survived by her son, Michael Lewis and wife, Priscilla Sill of Gaffney, SC; a daughter, Jill Brown and husband, Kenneth of Mt. Olive; a brother, Eddie Shytle and wife, Louise of Ashland, KY; a sister in law, Sandra of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jae Bowen and wife Rebecca, Ame Edwards and husband, Larry, Heather shields and husband, Tyler, Clyde Sneed, Justin Lewis and wife, Becca, Brandon Brown and wife, Erin, Jaboha Davis and husband, Lee; and 6 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Olyn Shytle
