Lorene M. Sloan

Lorene Mae Newsome Sloan, 94, was born in Mercer, WV to the late Jasper and Minnie Newsome, and was the wife of the late John Reason Sloan. She was retired from Colonial Grocery Store where she worked in the meat department.

A graveside service will be held in Wayne Memorial Park on Friday at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Sloan is survived by her sons, John and Jack Sloan of West Palm Beach, FL; a son in law, John Sexstella of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Brian Sloan and wife, Trina, Alesha Miller, Jennifer Sloan, Daniel Sloan and wife, Brie, Amy Sloan and husband, Doug Dean, Ashley Bean and husband, Chris, Amber Lynn Sloan, Michael Sexstella and wife, Natalie, and Anthony Sexstella and wife, Christina; and great grandchildren, Ethan Sloan, Dylan and Taylor Miller, Amber Rose McCall, T.J. and Jonathan Hembree, Nathan and Abigail Sloan, Damien Sloan-Herrera, Madison Bean, and Michael Sexstella.
