May 25, 1940 – April 28, 2019

Janet Woodley Lane, 78, of Cary, passed away Sunday morning at the Laurels of Forest Glenn. Born in Bunn Level, NC, she was the daughter of the late Haymer and Dorothy M. Woodley. She graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1959.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 P.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating. Committal services will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lane is survived by her children, Hank Lane and wife, Kristi of Holly Springs and Nancy Marcom and husband, Thomas of Apex; grandchildren, Hayes Lane, Aimee Lane, Heather Beckwith, Janet Parker, Max Marcom; great grandchildren, Taylor Johnson, Trevor, Johnson, and Aiden Parker; and brother, Johnny Woodley.
