George Barley Obituary
George William Barley, 72, of La Grange passed away Saturday at Wayne UNC Hospital. He is the son of the late George Clifton and Eloise Barley, and is the husband of Susan W. Barley. Mr. Barley was a United States Air Force veteran, he worked for Goldsboro Police Department and for Merck Pharmaceutical.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Eastern North Carolina Veteran’s Cemetery in Goldsboro, NC.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Barley is survived by his sons, Jeff Barley of Clayton and Jeremy Barley of La Grange; a sister, Polly Pike and husband, George of Goldsboro; and a sister in law, Debbie Barley of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Barley is preceded in death by a brother, James Barley.
