Beverly Ann (George) Compton

Beverly Ann George Compton, 67, passed away Wednesday at Woodard’s Care. She was born in Palmerton, PA, the daughter of the late Clayton and Alvesta Kleintop George, and was the wife of  Leslie G. Compton. Mrs. Compton enjoyed her time working at 3HC as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Harris officiating. The Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Compton is survived by her daughter, Dawn Pollitt and husband, Pete of Pennsylvania; her sons, Matthew Compton of Dudley, Timothy Compton of Georgia, and Scott Green of Pennsylvania; a sister, Janet Green; and 7 Grandchildren.
